Our dog, Moxie, a Belgian Malinois, became stranger aggressive around 15 months of age which coincided with the birth of our first baby. The timing was terrible. But Samantha, Bridget and Jefferson, the amazing folks we’ve worked with at KoruK9, jumped right in to help us with Moxie. We ended up putting Moxie with Samantha for a 4 week board and train program and we are SO happy we did. Moxie returned a more confident dog which made it easier for us to train her as well! We always knew we would have to religiously train and exercise this breed of dog so we were prepared for the work involved. But this work has really paid off. Moxie can hold her place with strangers and we no longer worry we can’t handle her when she becomes fearful. These guys are awesome and anyone looking for strategies to work with a dog who has developed behaviours not compatible with modern life should turn to them. They are practical and kind and they work hard to help the dog fit into the family life. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.
